Vlade Galic, age 81 of Griffith, Indiana passed away on January 6, 2021. He was born in Bosansko Grahovo, Selo Peulje in the former Yugoslavia on December 14, 1939. He dearly loved his kids, grandkids, relatives, Kumovi, and all of his friends. Vlade is survived by his children Ned (Cyrena) Galic, George Galic, and daughter Neda Averill; and two beautiful grandchildren Isabella Galic and Colton Averill. Vlade was retired form LTV Steel after 30 years of service. He was a longtime member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Schererville and was also a member of the Serbian Chetniks Organization Schererville. Friends are invited to visit with Vlade’s family on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church (905 E. Joliet Street, Schererville, IN 46375) At rest, Calumet Park Cemetery.
