Dimitrija Josifoski, 85, of Crown Point, Indiana, passed away on August 13, 2026.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Macedonian Orthodox Church, 9660 Broadway Avenue, Crown Point, IN, with Funeral Service beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Dimitrija is survived by his loving wife, Pera (Coleska); his son, Ivan (Milena) Josifoski; daughter, Renata (Kire) Skurteska; son, Bosko (Suzana) Josifoski; and grandchildren, Nikola (Natalija) Josifoski, Dimitri Josifoski, Andriana Skurteska, Aleksandar Skurteski, Dejan Josifoski, Bianca Josifoska, and Milan Josifoski.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Argil and Pauna Josifoski; sisters, Menka Prentoska and Boza Martinoska; brothers, Trajan Josifoski, Bogdan Josifoski, and Gjorgi Josifoski; and nephew, Tode Josifoski.

Dimitrija was born in the village of Orovnik, Macedonia, on October 2, 1940, to Argil and Pauna Josifoski. The youngest of six children, Dimitrija immigrated to the United States in 1986, settling in New Jersey. Later, he moved to Indiana with his family.

Dimitrija enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his unwavering loyalty, and the deep love he had for his family. A hardworking man, he took great pride in providing for and caring for those he loved. He had a lifelong love of soccer and a strong interest in the world around him, always enjoying a good conversation and sharing his thoughts. Above all, he was welcoming and generous with his time, and he loved having family and friends gathered around him. He especially loved weddings and family celebrations, where he could always be found smiling, laughing, and dancing among the people he loved. His presence made those moments even more memorable for everyone around him. His smile, his warmth, and the love he gave so freely will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
