Zorka Jurkovic (nee, Kosanovic), born October 15, 1927, of Schererville, IN formerly of Phoenix, AZ, passed away peacefully February 21, 2019. Beloved wife of +Milos Jurkovic, daughter of +Milos and +Marija, sister to +Rade, +Nikola, +Milka, Danica, Mara and Milica of Serbia. Beloved mother of Millie (Svetko) Balach, Bogdanka (Aleksandar) Aleksic, son Nikola (Joni) Jurkovic; adoring “Baba” (grandmother) of Jovan (Kristina) Aleksic, Dr. Liljana Aleksic, Milica (Jack) Thomason, Nikola Balach, Svetlana (Brandon) Reiss, Branislav Jurkovic; loving “Prababa” (great-grandmother) to Gianna,
Petra, Benjamin, Nikola, Danijela, and Mila. Also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, kumovi and dear friends. Zorka was a long-standing member of the Circle of Serbian Sisters of St. Simeon Serbian Orthodox Church and a lifelong supporter of many Serbian Orthodox charitable organizations.

Interment 12:30pm at New Gracanica Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery, Third Lake, IL.
