Zdravka Damjanovic (Kesic), age 95, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday June 7, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Zdravka was born on August 19, 1928 in Bosansko Grahovo (selo Kesici) to parents Simo and Deva Kesic. Zdravka immigrated to the United States in 1998 after the death of her beloved husband.
She is survived by her sons Veso (Miljka) Damjanovic and Ilija (Boja) Damjanovic; daughters Jela (Momcilo) Marich and Tatjana (Milan) Babic; 9 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Zdravka is preceded in death by her parents Simo and Deva Kesic; husband Jovan Damjanovic; son Goran Damjanovic, brothers Ilija, Mihailo, Lazar and Mirko; and sisters Zorka, Milka and Jela.
Services will be held on Wednesday June 12th from 5pm-8pm at Lincon Ridge Funeral Home and Thursday June 13th at 11:30am at St George Serbian Orthodox Church in Schererville, Indiana.
She will be laid to rest in Bosansko Grahovo selo Kesici.
Zdravka will be greatly missed, may her memory be eternal. Vjecnaja Pamjat!
