Vera Denholm

Vera Denholm, age 71, of Schererville, IN passed away June 1, 2024, preceded in death by her loving husband, Allan M. Denholm, parents, Gertrud and Peter Hannen, sister, Christa Uerlichs, and in-laws, James and Florence Denholm.  Survived by her loving family; sisters: Jutta (Guenter), and Sibelle (Juergen); brothers Peter, Klaus (Ellen) and Rolf; and nieces and nephews: Alexandra, Stefan, Michael, Christine, and Scott,and several great nieces and nephews.  A memorial gathering will take place Thursday, July 11, at 5:00 PM at the Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home, 7607 W. Lincoln Hwy, Schererville, IN.. Friends are invited to visit with family on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home.  Vera retired from the Cook County Library where she worked at several of its branches and was a favorite of patrons.
