Thomas Rucinski

Thomas Rucinski, 71, of Schererville Indiana passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 19, 2024. Known to everyone affectionately as Tommy. Tommy grew up in Hammond Indiana, graduated from Bishop Noll high school, then earned his bachelor degree at Saint Joseph College.
He spent his adult life at his family printing company, Sheffield Press, a business that he loved dearly. He loved spending his free time golfing or watching his favorite shows on the history channel. He loved helping people and would do anything he could for everyone. He was always the first phone call made if you needed an answer to a question, needed to know how to do something, or just needed him. Tommy was a constant, someone you could always count on. His favorite place was in his recliner with a giant cup of Diet Coke and whatever treat there was to satisfy his sweet tooth watching football with his wife Rhonda, unless his grandkids had an event, then you could find him there. He never missed a football, softball, soccer, baseball, volleyball game, band concert, or piano recital, he was their biggest fan. You can bet that he is now sitting in heaven, in his recliner with his beloved pugs Pee-wee and Jackson by his side.

Tom was proceeded in death by his parents Richard and Evelyn Rucinski.
He is survived by his wife Rhonda Rucinski, his children, Shay (Lisa)Fox , Armando jr. (Laura) Fox, Renee (Matt) Scearce, grandchildren, Shay, Nolan, Connor, Carter, Armando, Cassidy, Anissa, Anthony, Marlo, Skylar, Jude, Scarlett, and Tatum.
His brothers Timm (Cindi) Rucinski, Terry (Jill) Rucinski,Ted Rucinski, Todd (Jennifer) Rucinski, nephew Richard and nieces Kaitlyn and Ella Rucinski.
