GRIFFITH, IN – Simo Tica, age 95, of Griffith, IN passed away on June 24, 2018. Survived by his loving wife, Anica; son, Danny Tica; sister, Mara Plavsic; family in Serbia; numerous Kumovi and many dear friends. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church of Schererville, with Rev. Radovan Jakovljevic officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery. Friends are in vited to visit with Simo’s family on Thursday from 5:00-8:00PM at the LINCOLN RIDGE FUNERAL HOME, 7606 W. Lincoln Hwy., Schererville (Rt. 30 East of Cline Ave.) Pomen prayer service Thursday evening at 7:00 PM. Simo was a member of the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Schererville, Serbian Chetnik Organization, Schererville and a retired employee of the Inland Steel Company.
