Rudolph “Rudy” Mark Lomberger, 75, of Schererville, Indiana, passed away on December 22, 2024. Born on November 10, 1949, in East Chicago, Indiana, he was the beloved husband of Susan Ann Lomberger (Arndt). Rudy is survived by his wife Susan Lomberger (Arndt); his children Josh Lomberger (Ashley), Melissa Newell (Eric), and Michael Lomberger (Margaret); his grandchildren Harper, Alex, Teigen, and Charley; his sister Joanne Hurley (Dan), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John “Rudy” Lomberger and Mary Lomberger, sister Mary Anne Arancibia, and his son, Rudy Michael Lomberger. Throughout his life, Rudy was known for his warmth, humor, and dedication to his family. He loved the Green Bay Packers and all sports and enjoyed sharing those passions with others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Friends are invited to visit with Rudy’s family on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Calumet Area.
