Nicholas J. Bakas

Nicholas J. Bakas age 50 of West Melburne, Florida passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020.  Nick was born in East Chicago, Indiana on July 29, 1970 to John and Eleftheria Bakas.  He was the youngest sibling out of four children.  He is survived by his mother Eleftheria Bakas, brothers Peter and Andy Bakas, sister Kathy Radinovic, along with many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and dear friends.  Nick will be missed by many.  He was an avid basketball fan, popular with everyone, always greeting everyone with a smile.  Nick had a great sense of humor.  He also had a successful automotive business located in West Melburne, Fl.  Nick is in heaven now with his father, smiling down on us all, shooting jump shots, and talking smack.  Funeral will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. directly at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church Schererville, In.  A brief visitation will take place at Church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.  At rest, Ridgelawn Cemetery Gary, In.
