Mrs. Nathaleen Jean Oliverio, 92, of Murray, KY, formerly of East Chicago, IN, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Murray Calloway County Hospital. Nathaleen was born on September 26, 1930 in Carolina, WV to the late Clyde and Maggie Cameon. Mrs. Oliverio loved to travel and spend time with her beloved family. She was involved and belonged to many clubs such as VFW of Hammond, IN, Knights of Columbus of East Chicago, IN, Roxana Civic Club of East Chicago, IN, Twin City Ladies Democrat Club of East Chicago, IN, and the Cesare Battisti Italian American Woman’s Club of Schererville, IN. There was always a place close to Nathaleen’s heart for her loved ones. She treasured time spent with family and friends above all else. Among her many interests were all things Elvis. She was an ardent fan of his music and movies. Nathaleen was loved by many and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Mr. Sam Oliverio; five brothers, Arthur, Joe, Albert, Rudy and Pete Cameon. Left to cherish many wonderful memories are three sons, Tom Oliverio (Debra) of Murray, Dominick Oliverio (Toni) of Saline, MI, Sam Oliverio (Amber) of Safety Harbor, FL; a brother, Bill Cameon (friend, Sylvia) of Highland, IN; two sisters, Virginia Mezzanotte of PA, Linda Cameon (Gary) of WV. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren, Tommy, Jennifer (Nathan), Nick (Leah), Mike (Megan), Natalina, Michelina (Kyle) as well as four great grandchildren, Jonah, Adalyn, Evelyn, Chiara; a host of nieces and nephews and a special friends and sisters in law, Filomena Oliverio and Nola Cameon.
A visitation will be held from 11-12:30 pm on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home, 7607 W. Lincoln Hwy, Schererville, IN. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Cline Ave, Schererville, IN.
