Mildred Hriecenak, age 89, of Schereville passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at home. She is survived by her daughter Angeline Shofroth and sister Mary Mitrowka; grandchildren: John Jr(Julie) Shofroth, Sonja(Craig) Patitsas, Nicholas(Trina) Shofroth, Michael(Yvonne) Shofroth; great-grandchildren: Alexander Mace, Lukas Galecki-Shofroth, Kaitlyn Tomecko, Damian and Cheyenne Patitsas, Gavin Shofroth, Caiden Shofroth, Isabelle and Brandon Bower and many nieces and nephews and other loving relatives.
Preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Fr. John J Hriecenak, parents John and Mary Misecko, two sisters(Anne Czarnecki and Betty DeLache), brother John Misecko Jr, and two nieces (Phyllis Misecko and Harriet Dalka).
Mildred was loved by all, and will always be known as Nana. She retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Company with 35 years service, as a phone operator. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, bowling, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
