Michael D. Miller, age 58 of Crown Point, Indiana, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2024.
Born to Dennis and Elizabeth (Jean) Miller. He was a loving and dedicated husband. Mike enjoyed the simple things in life.
Mike had a kind and friendly personality. a true heart of gold. He was funny, honest, family oriented and always willing to lend a helping hand to all who knew him. Mike lived his life fully and exactly as he wanted, doing it his way.
Mike enjoyed, boating, and water skiing when younger. Hobbies throughout his life included fishing, Nascar tinkering in the garage, and spending time with his wife, family and pets. Mike was a lover of animals, and they loved him! He enjoyed his daily trips to the dog park with his best buddy Chance.
Mike graduated from Andrean High School in 1984 and attended Ivy Tech College to study Auto Body Technology.
Mike is preceded in death by his father Dennis. He is survived by his beloved wife, Julie. Mother, Elizabeth Jean Miller, sister, Mary (Patrick) McGrath, nephews Andrew and Anthony Hanlon, Mike had one great niece Wren, two aunts and one Uncle.
Friends are invited to visit with Mike’s family on Thursday, August 29th, from 5-7 pm at Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home, 7607 W. Lincoln Highway, Crown Point, IN. 46307. (Rt 30, East of Cline Ave)
