SCHERERVILLE, IN – Ljubica Markos age 82, of Schererville, passed away on March 27, 2025. She is survived by her loving children: sons; Milan (Alissa), Ranko (Sarah) Markos; daughter, Milica (Craig) Wilson; grandchildren: Milan Jr., Lilijana, Ava, Mila and Franklin; numerous nieces and nephews, family Kumovi and life long family friends here and in Serbia. Ljubica is preceded in death by her loving husband Momcilo Markos.
Friend are invited to visit with Ljubica’s family on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church Schererville from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Funeral Service beginning at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Radovan Jakovljevic officiating. At Rest, Calumet Park Cemetery. Ljubica was a member of the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, SNF Lodge 171, Circle of Serbian Sisters, and a retired employee of Lake Central School Corporation.
