Ilija Matijevic

Ilija Matijevic of Cedar Lake, Indiana passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021. Ilija is preceded in death by his loving wife Slavka Matijevic,  brother Milan Matijevic  and  sister Milica Treskavica.  He is survived by his children;   Mirko (Danica) Matijevic,  Milka (Late Rajko) Petrovic,  Ilinka Marinkovic,  Stevo (Beba) Matijevic, and  Zivko Matijevic.  Grand children;  Djordje (Snezana) Petrovic,  Stojanka Petrovic,  Milan (Fiance Branka) Matijevic,  Mirela (Bogoslav) Vukojev,  Aleksandar (Fiance Brittany) Marinkovic,  Drazen (Fiance Daniela) Matijevic,  Ilijana Matijevic,  Aleksandra (Fiance Marko) Marinkovic,  and   Stevan Matijevic.  Great grandchildren;  Luka Vukojev,  Pavle Petrovic,  Magdalena Vukojev,  Jelena Matijevic,  Tristan Lim,  Nevyn Marinkovic and many Kumovi, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.  Funeral Service for Ilija will be on Friday, November 12, 2021 directly at the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church Schererville, IN at 10:00 A.M.  Friends are invited to visit with Ilija’s family on Friday at the St. George Church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.  At rest, Calumet Park Cemetery.
