Dusanka Katic

HAMMOND, IN – Dusanka Katic, age 93, of Hammond, IN (Hessville) passed away April 21, 2018.  She is survived by her three loving children:  Marija Katic, Mirjana  (David) Hamilton and Milan (Dr. Janice Zunich) Katic; five grandchildren: Kara, Rebecca, Kyla, Nikola and Milana;  three great grandchildren:  Allegra, Mae and Cole;  sisters: Jovanka Obradovic and Andjelija Gnjatovic; numerous Kumovi and nieces and nephews and many dear friends.  Preceded in death by her husband Ilija.  Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 25, at 10:00 AM directly at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church,  Schererville with Rev. Radovan Jakovljevic officiating.  At rest Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.  Friends are invited to visit with Dusanka’s family Tuesday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the LINCOLN RIDGE FUNERAL HOME 7607 W. Lincoln Hwy, Schererville (Rt. 330 East of Cline Ave.)  Dusanka was a member of the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Circle of Serbian Sisters and the Chetnik Sisters Kolo.  She was a retired employee of Inland Steel Company.
