Dolores Elias, of Crown Point, passed away peacefully on March 31st 2026. Dolores was born April 5, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois, to Amelia and Henry Elias. She grew up in the South Deering neighborhood, where she was surrounded by family and built lasting relationships.
Dolores expressed her love through caring for others, especially in the meals she prepared and shared with her family. She treasured time spent traveling and creating lasting memories with those closest to her. She took great pride in her role as a loving and devoted grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Daniel (Raquel), Selina, and Julie; her step daughters; Amber, Brieah her grandchildren, Elyssa, Danielle, Daniel, Selina, Luke, Alistair, Hudson, Aeva, Max; her father, Henry (June); and her siblings, Jesse (the late Christina), Paula (Gilbert), Anita (Anton), Louise, Henry (Jill), Marla (John), Suzanna (Derrick), Paul, Mario (Veronica) Greg, and Sara (Orlando), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jeffery Hudson; Mother, Amelia; Sister, Mary.
Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24th at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 3200 E. 91st Street, Chicago, Illinois 60617.
