Devis Morris

GRIFFITH, IN – Devis Morris, age 64, of Griffith, IN passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018. She was born in Gary, Indiana. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Tim; daughters: Kezia (Ray) Cirks and Bethany (Daniel) Hayes; her adoring grandchildren: Kaylee, Ryan, Collin, Aislinn, and Megan; sisters: Darlene (Ron) Pearman and Diana Coons; sister in law, Karen (Joe) Vessely. She will be remembered by her large extended family and dear friends. Preceded in death by her parents, John “Jerry” and Shirley (McGlinn) Janda. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the LINCOLN RIDGE FUNERAL HOME 7607 W. Lincoln Hwy Schererville (Rt 30 East of Cline Ave) At rest Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Friends are invited to visit with Devis’ family on Monday from 4:00-8:00PM at the Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home. Devis was a 20 year employee of AT&T who had many fond memories with her colleagues and technicians. She enjoyed spending time with all her friends at the Indiana Harbor Yacht Club and fishing with her husband, Tim.
