Darko Nanic, 71, of Schererville, IN, passed away on May 12, 2025, with his adoring family by his side. Darko is survived by his loving wife, Nevenka Nanic, Sons; Veljko Nanic and Jovica (Maggie) Nanic; five grandchildren; Milica, Luka, Marko, Nikola, and Aleksandar; twin brother, Bosko, sister, Radoslava (Cedomir) Usljebrka, cousins Natalija Tica, Vojislav (Margaret) Nanich, Miodrag Nanic, Katarina Gugleta, Miso Gugleta, along with numerous family, friends, and Kumovi in Serbia, Canada, and the United States.
Darko was preceded in death by his parents Veljko and Jovanka Nanic, and sister Njegoslava Likic.
Funeral Service will take place Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church Schererville, IN at 10:00 A.M. Friends are invited to visit with Darko’s family on Thursday, at Church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. At rest, Holy Cross Cemetery Merrillville, Indiana.
