DEMOTTE/SCHERERVILLE, IN – Daniel P Krivickas, 80, of Demotte/Schererville, IN.  He passed away on June 17, 2023 he is survived by his wife Barbara, sons, Daniel (Karla Esparza-Phillips Krivickas),  Tim (Sandy) Krivickas,  Joseph (Teresa) Krivickas;  grandchildren: William Krivickas,  Hannah (Brett) Moll,   Brienne (Josh) Sorrels,  Elizabetta and Olivia Krivickas;  sisters:  Virginia Weldon,  Paulette Fabian,  Madeline Haynes;  sisters-in-law,  Pegret Krivickas,  Patsy Connor,  and numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his son, David; parents Casimir and Virginia Krivickas;  brother, Phillip Krivickas;  and brothers-in-law,  Robert Fabian,  William Haynes,  Bill Weldon and John Connor.

Funeral will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. directly at the St. Michael Catholic Church Schererville and at rest, St. Michael Cemetery.  Friends are invited to visit with Daniel’s family on Friday, June 23, 2023 fro 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the LINCOLN RIDGE FUNERAL HOME in Schererville.  Dan was born in East Chicago, IN.  He graduated from Bishop Noll High School in 1960.  Dan met his beautiful wife Barbara at a dance where he uttered the now famous words that always made him smile “hey blondie wanna dance?”  Dan and Barbara were married for over 58 years and he cited his wonderful wife, four sons, and multiple grandchildren as his greatest accomplishments.  Dan loved to travel, his favorite destinations were Las Vegas and Phoenix.  He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Schererville and a retired employee of Inland Steel Company.
