Ann Kania (nee Grabowski)

Ann Kania (nee Grabowski) CROWN POINT, IN – Ann Kania, age 84, of Crown Point, IN passed away March 16, 2018. She is survived by her loving family: daughters, Jean Carson, Patricia (Robert) Trebe and Constance (Richard) LaVelle; son, Joseph; grandchildren, Christine Carson, Kristin (Mark) Dozier, Jodie (Dakota) Hinton, Alexander, Elizabeth and Laura Trebe, Timothy and John LaVelle; three great-grandchildren, Nolen, Beau and Nile Hinton; sisters, Jean Kownacki, Henrietta (Robert) Fialkowski; and brother, Henry (Tania) Grabowski; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Stanley. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the LINCOLN RIDGE FUNERAL HOME, 7607 W. Lincoln Hwy., Schererville (Rt. 30 east of Cline Ave). Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by an 11 a.m. Mass at St. Michael Catholic Church with Rev. Gregory Bim-Merle officiating. At rest at St. Michael Cemetery. Ann was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
