Anica Tica, age 94, of Griffith, IN passed away on October 4, 2023. Survived by her son Danny Tica, family in the United States and Serbia and many dear friends. Preceded in death by her loving husband Simo Tica. Anica was a member of the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Schererville and The Circle of Serbian Sisters at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Schererville. In lieu of flowers, the family asks any donations to be given to the Northwestern Memorial Foundation of Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Funeral Service for Anica will be held Monday, October 9, 2023 directly at the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church Schererville at 10:00 A.M. Friends are invited to visit with Anica’s family at Church Monday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. At rest, Calumet Park Cemetery.
