Phyllis G. Fletcher

MERRILLVILLE, IN – Phyllis G. Fletcher age 86, of Merrillville, passed away January 2, 2024. She is survived by daughters, Cara Fletcher and Christa (Doug) Byers; grandsons, Jaden and Christian; granddaughters, Andrea (Chris) Frankovich and Jillian (John) Rivera; five grandchildren, Ben, Shane, Owen, Gabriel, and Sophia. Preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Edna Nommensen; brother, Verdys Nommensen; daughter, Candy Wozniak; husband, Elbert Fletcher.
Funeral service will be held Friday, January 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. At rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.
Friends are invited to visit with Phyllis’s family on Friday from 12 noon until time of service at the Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home, Schererville.
Phyllis was a lifelong member of TOPS in Chicago and Indiana. She created WAGS in NWI and she is a lifelong republican supporter and a faithful Christian.
