It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Radovan Markoski (57), who entered into eternal rest on January 4, 2026 in Portage, Indiana. Born on October 12, 1968 in the beautiful city of Ohrid, Macedonia Radovan carried the spirit of his homeland with him throughout his life. As a dedicated trucking business owner, he was known for his strong work ethic and his ability to navigate the long roads with determination and pride. When he wasn’t behind the wheel or managing his business, Radovan found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of lite. He was a master of the grill, happiest when surrounded by the smoky aroma of a BBQ and the company of loved ones. Whether he was out fishing or hosting a cookout, his passion for good food and the outdoors was infectious. Radovan was the cherished youngest son of the late Lefko and Tanaska Markoski. While his presence will be deeply missed, there is great comfort in knowing he is now at peace, reunited with his mother and father. His legacy lives on through his devoted son, Aleksandar Markoski of Valparaiso, Indiana who remains a testament to his father’s strength and brother, Krste Markoski of Ohrid, Macedonia. Radovan will be remembered as a hardworking man with a generous spirit and a love for life’s true comforts. May the roads rise to meet him, and may he find eternal rest by the peacetul waters he loved so much.
