Lourdes “LuLu” Lozano Gutierrez

Lourdes “LuLu” Lozano (Gutiérrez), age 91, of Crown Point, Indiana, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025. Born on October 25, 1934, in Mexico City, Mexico, Lourdes lived a life defined by devotion to her family, quiet strength, and enduring love. Lourdes was the beloved wife of Lucio Lozano, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and unwavering commitment to one another. She now joins her cherished husband in eternal rest.She was a devoted mother to her three children: Jorge Lozano (Mary Willy), Lillian Harkness (David), and Diana “Eddie” Lozano. Lourdes was also a proud and loving grandmother to five grandchildren: Kendall Harkness, Garrett Harkness, Kendra Morley-Lozano, Sarah Morley-Lozano, and Alexander Lozano-Willy, each of whom brought her immense joy. Known affectionately as “LuLu,” Lourdes will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the love she poured into her family and home. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and the many lives she touched with her friendliness and kindness. We would like to express our gratitude to all the caregivers, family, and friends who made it possible for Lulu to remain in her home. Services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 at St. Michael the Archangel Church,
(1 N. Wilhelm Street, Schererville, IN 46375). Visitation will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. Lourdes will be deeply missed and forever remembered. May she rest in peace
