Jovan Uzelac age 88 of Crown Point, IN passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2026. He is survived by his loving sons George (Amy) Uzelac and Bogdan (Rankica) Uzelac. Two grandchildren; Mallory and Jovan, along with many Kumovi and dear friends. Jovan is preceded in death by his wife Mirjana, brothers; Djuro, Milan, Bogdan and Sister; Mira.
Funeral Service will take place Monday, March 30, 2026 at the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church Schererville at 10:00 A.M. Friends are invited to visit with Jovan’s family at Church on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. At rest, Calumet Park Cemetery.
Jovan was a proud member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church Schererville. He also belonged to Chetnik Memorial Organizations, and was retired from the Inland Steel Company.
