Charles Bielefeld age 83 of Schererville, IN, passed away on October 7, 2025. He is survived by his sister; Helen, first cousins; Bill Bailey of Minnesota, and Bernard Schubert of Lowell, Indiana, along with numerous other family members, cousins, and dear friends.
Charlie was a proud U.S. Army National Guard Veteran, and also belonged to the American Legion Post 66 Griffith, IN. He worked for Simmons Mattress Company for 15 years until its closing in 1980. Charlie farmed his entire life until his retirement in 2008, and always enjoyed going to a good farm auction. Charlie will be missed by many.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, 0ct 17, 2025 at the St. Michael Catholic Church Schererville, IN at 10:30 A.M. Friends are invited to visit with Charlie’s family on Friday at Church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service. At rest, St. Michael’s Cemetery.
