Anthony S. (Tony) Robledo

Anthony S. (Tony) Robledo passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025. Tony was born on December 29, 1947,  to Santos and Maria (Castro) Robledo. Tony grew up in “The Harbor” and graduated from Bishop Noll Institute in 1966. He then attended Purdue University Calumet Campus , where he met his former wife and lifelong companion, Carolyn (Kush) Robledo, who survives him. He is also survived by his sons, Andrew S. (Christy) Robledo and Justin (Katie) Robledo, grandchildren Andrew J. (Brooke), Alyssa, Lukas and Nickolas Robledo, great-granddaughter, Evelyne Robledo and step grandchildren, Shawn Kelly and Jennifer Seleagyi, along with many extended family members and friends.Tony had a long career in IT with NIPSCO and COMDISCO. He then became the owner of R House of Brews in Crown Point. After retirement, he continued playing tennis and weightlifting, and organizing friends and family for gatherings and good times. He always enjoyed his many trips to Ireland, where he and his friends explored as many Irish pubs as possible.Tony was always full of life, love and fun. His loss will be felt by those who knew  and loved him forever.A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home, 7607 West Lincoln Highway, Crown Point, IN.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Tony’s memory.
