Andre Kocoski, age 18 of Dyer, passed away unexpectedly on March 3, 2026. Andre was a beloved son and brother who brought light and laughter to those around him. He had a creative spirit and a deep passion for music and fashion, and he dreamed of building a successful life doing the things he loved.
Andre will be remembered for his sense of humor, his individuality, and his desire to make others smile. Though he faced a long struggle with bipolar disorder and depression, he remained someone who cared deeply about the people in his life and who was always chasing his dreams. Those who knew him have no doubt that he would have gone on to do something special.
Andre is survived by his mother, Silvia; stepfather, Scot and his brothers, Koste and Antonio. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him and in the many moments of joy he shared with them.
Andre is preceded in death by his father Aleksandar, grandmother Sloboda, grandfather Koste and cousin Ane.
Friends are invited to visit with Andre’s family on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home (7607 W. Lincoln Hwy. Crown Point) from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00. Funeral service beginning at 11:00 A.M. At rest, Calumet Park Cemetery.
