Jane A. Franz (nee Gustis)

MERRILLVILLE, IN – Jane A. Franz (nee Gustis) of Merrillville, passed away June 21, 2018. She is survived by her loving husband James A. Franz,; three beloved children: Daniel (Michelle) Franz, John (Shanea) Franz, Andrea (Nick) Bracas; seven grandchildren: Emalie, Elaina, Ben, Aydan, James, Colten and Lucas; sister Joan McCarthy; brother James (Linda) Gustis and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, Merrillville. Friends are invited to visit with Janes’s family on Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the LINCOLN RIDGE FUNERAL HOME, 7607 W. Lincoln Hwy., Schererville (Rt. 30 east of Cline Ave.) and also at the church on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Jane was formerly employed as a Medical Podiatric Assistant in Merrillville. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given. Jane was well know as a baker of cakes and ginger bread houses.
